Some clients are so used to living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or panic attacks they almost feel it has become a part of them.
They can actually identify with the problem so much that they begin to wonder if they will still be themselves without it.
And the answer to those concerns is that when the problem is gone you will definitely still be yourself because the problem is NOT who you are. The problem is something that has been added to who you are and is preventing you from being who you want to be. Therefore when it is gone you are in fact more of your true self not less
